Terms and Conditions – Aerial Yoga Classes

These Terms and Conditions (“Terms”) apply to all aerial yoga classes, workshops, and sessions (“Classes”) provided by Hackney Aerial Yoga (“Instructor”, “we”, “our”) in London, UK. By booking or attending a Class, you (“Participant”, “you”, “your”) agree to be bound by these Terms.

1. General

  • All Classes are operated in accordance with UK law.
  • Participants must be aged 18 or over, unless otherwise agreed in writing by the Instructor.
  • The Instructor reserves the right to update these Terms from time to time.

2. Booking and Payment

  • All bookings must be made in advance. A place in a Class is not confirmed until payment has been received.
  • All booking fees are strictly non-refundable, unless otherwise required by law or where the Instructor cancels a Class.
  • If you are unable to attend, you may transfer your booking to another Class (subject to availability) only if you provide at least 72 hours’ notice in advance. Requests made with less than 72 hours’ notice will not be accepted.

3. Attendance, Lateness, and Missed Classes

  • Participants are expected to arrive on time for each Class.
  • For safety reasons, late arrivals will not be permitted once the Class has started.
  • Missed Classes, whether due to lateness, illness, personal circumstances, or non-attendance, cannot be rescheduled, credited, or refunded under any circumstances.

4. Health and Safety

  • You are responsible for ensuring that you are physically fit and able to participate in aerial yoga.
  • If you have any medical condition, injury, or are pregnant, you must consult a medical professional before attending and inform the Instructor prior to the Class.
  • The Instructor is not a medical professional and cannot provide medical advice.
  • You must follow all safety instructions given by the Instructor at all times.

5. Use of Premises

  • No alcohol is permitted on the premises.
  • Participants must not attend Classes under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
  • Please respect the premises, equipment, and other participants. Any damage caused intentionally or through misuse may be charged to the Participant.

6. Liability

  • Participation in aerial yoga involves physical activity and carries risk of injury. By attending, you accept these risks and agree that the Instructor is not liable for any injury, loss, or damage unless caused by negligence.
  • The Instructor is covered by appropriate insurance for aerial yoga instruction as required in the UK.

7. Cancellations by the Instructor

  • The Instructor reserves the right to cancel or reschedule a Class at short notice. In such cases, Participants will be offered a refund or transfer to another Class.

8. Data Protection

  • Any personal data provided will be handled in accordance with the UK General Data Protection Regulation (UK GDPR).
  • Your contact details may be used to provide Class updates but will not be shared with third parties without your consent.

9. Governing Law

  • These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.
  • Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.
